TRAINING AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

ESAMP seeks to offer a wide range of training and volunteer opportunities to individuals across
East Sussex. These placements aredesigned to give participants the skills to embark on careers within the archaeological, museums, and environmental sectors.

ESAMP is unique in the scope, range and type of training and volunteering opportunities it offers. These opportunities last from 13 to 52 weeks and are a blend of work experience, structured training and jobsearch support. These opportunities allow participants to gain increased confidence, to develop a
wide range of transferable skills and to gain vocational skills and qualifications in their chosen career area. ESAMP has helped many hundreds of people achieve their career aims.

In addition to the training and volunteer placements run directly by ESAMP staff
(managed by East Sussex County Council),
placements are also carried out in association with the following partner organisations:

- The Sussex Archaeology Society
- Brighton Museum
- Hove Museum
- Countryside Management Service, E.S.C.C.

CELEBRATING DIVERSITY
ESAMP welcomes applicants from all parts of the community.
We are committed to promoting a positive and supportive environment for all our trainees.

The training placements are offered in partnership with JobcentrePlus. Details of eligibility for this programme can be checked with JobcentrePlus staff.

The Interreg volunteer opportunities are supported by an Interreg/EU grant.
