MUSEUMS AND LIBRARIES

ESAMP has developed partnerships with a number of museums across East Sussex. Trainees can gain experience in areas such as museum education, cataloguing, conservation, exhibition design and display.

The bulk of the internal training is carried out by museum staff in the workplace. This means that as well as gaining experience working on current museum projects, trainees also get to explore the real working environment and can make valuable contacts in the field.

We currently have partnerships with the Sussex Archaeological Society, Brighton and Hove Museums Service and the Fishing Museum in Brighton.
